What levels do you teach at HBF Arena Swim School?
I teach Parent and baby levels 2 - 4, Preschool levels 1 and 2, as well as Adult beginners.
When did you start instructing?
I started instructing in England in 1998.
How long have you been teaching at HBF Arena?
I have been teaching at HBF Arena since March 2019.
What certifications do you have?
- Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety
- Infant and preschool aquatics
Why do you think learning to swim and being proficient at swimming is important?
It is an important life saving skill which can also lead to participating in other aquatic sports or careers.
What is the best part about teaching children how to swim?
Teaching water confidence and skills for life that will enable them to be safe and confident in and around water.
What are your favourite water activities to do in Perth?
Recreational swimming and snorkelling.
What is something that most people do not know about you?
In 2018 I trekked to Mount Everest base camp!
