Register to be a part of our newly expanded Arena Cup competition, the premier outdoor sporting competition in Perth's northern suburbs. For the first time ever Mixed Netball will join our Arena Cup comp alongside our men's and women's 6-aside soccer competitions.
Arena Cup runs over the spring and summer months, starting in October running through to Feb/March. Giving you the perfect opportunity for a mid-week run around under lights.
For the first time, the 2025/2026 season will welcome a mixed netball competition to Arena Cup. Joining the existing men's and women's 6-a-side soccer leagues. The new netball competition will take place on Thursday evenings on the outdoor courts, while outdoor soccer will continue on our iconic astro turf. Women play on Tuesdays and Men's games are on Wednesday evenings.

Arena Cup Frequently Asked Questions

Arena Joondalup offers Indoor and Outdoor Soccer.
Indoor Soccer is a men's only 5-aside comp and runs all year round over two-seasons. Played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings on newly refurbished courts.
Outdoor soccer is played over the Summer months only, a 6-aside men's and women's competition on our iconic astro turf

Indoor mixed netball on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings all year round.
Indoor ladies netball between 9:15am - 11:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings, held all year round.

We use an online portal called Fixi for team registration. You must complete an online nomination through the SportFix team portal here. A primary team contact (team captain) must be identified to serve as a main point of contact who will be advised of game times and other important information. Then the team members section must be completed in full with names, contact numbers and current email addresses. Teams will not be included in the new season fixtures unless a fully completed team nomination has been received.

Teams are required to be in position with the minimum number of players required, ready to start at the fixtured time. The clock will start at the fixtured time regardless of whether a team is ready or not. Below is our minimum players and late-penalties.
Ladies netball - min 5 players on the court and 2 points for every minute of game time teams are not ready.
Mixed netball - min 2 players and 3 females on the court and 2 points for every minute of game time teams are not ready.
Futsal/Soccer - min 3 players to start the match and 1 goal for every minute of game time teams are not ready (to max of 5 goals). -
If your team is required to forfeit a game it must be in writing to sportingcompetitions.arenajoondalup@venueswest.wa.gov.au

No show or less than 24hours notice is a 2x match fee
Forfeit with more than 24hours notice isa 1x match fee
Forfeit with more than 14-days notice is no fee -
If you wish to withdraw from the competition it must be made in writing to sportingcompetitions.arenajoondalup@venueswest.wa.gov.au
Any team who withdraws or is removed once the joining fee payment has been made forfeits the payment.

Please ensure you wear the correct uniform and bring a sweat towel and water bottle. Balls are provided by VenuesWest.

There are 1,000 free parking spaces at the venue, including disabled and motorbike bays. Bicycle racks are located by the entrance. Parking fees may apply during major events.

Cash will only be accepted by Arena Joondalup reception, all online payments are electronic and recommended.

Yes, at the end of each season the grand final winners receive a voucher.
