Background
I was born and raised in China and moved to Australia in 2008. Growing up with delicious, healthy food, I was never overweight—even while working an office job. However, I didn’t understand the importance of strength training until my body began to break down.
At 23, during my pregnancy with my son, I started experiencing back pain due to a weak core. A few years later, while studying International Business at university and working in a kitchen in Australia, the pain worsened. By the age of 28, I was dealing with chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain that was so severe I couldn’t sleep at night.
I spent a lot of time and money on physio, chiro, and massage therapy. They helped—temporarily. But deep down, I knew I needed to do more. I needed to build strength and take responsibility for my own healing. I knew something had to change.
My journey into martial arts began back in 2009, with Japanese Karate and Jujitsu. That experience opened my eyes to the biomechanics of the human body and movement. It was this growing passion that led me to formally study fitness. In 2015, I became a qualified Personal Trainer—not only to heal myself, but to help others avoid the same pain I went through.
Strength training has truly changed my life. It not only gave me back control over my body but also played a crucial role in healing my chronic pain.
Being a PT is the best job in the world! I absolutely love watching my clients achieve their goals. I’ve helped clients lose 20- 30 kg in a year, fit into dresses they never thought they’d wear again, and live pain-free after years of discomfort. Some have even seen arthritis symptoms, back pain, and shoulder or neck issues disappear completely.
I truly believe that investing in your health and fitness is the best investment you can make. When you look after your body, your body will look after you. And it’s my privilege to walk that journey with you—side by side, every step of the way.

Background
My love of keeping fit and staying active started from a very young age. My father decided to teach us martial arts when I was quite young, around 4 or 5 years old. I absolutely loved it! I think because I felt alive but also because my dad was so proud of me.
In school I had a bit of a tough time because I was different. I should explain that, LOL. Back then we weren’t so multicultural and so I stood out like a sore thumb being of Asian back ground (my dad hence the martial arts). No I did not use the martial arts to kick butt, however I was in demand when it came to choosing teams for sports. I would even be nominated captain. This is the time I felt accepted and just like everyone else or maybe a smidgen faster ;)
I have found that exercise makes a big difference to how we see ourselves. It improves not just the outside but more importantly, our confidence and self –esteem. It’s the best ‘pill’ you can take for overall health and the side effects are, you look and feel better!

Background
Health and fitness is in my blood it’s my life and my passion. I started my own business at the age of 17 and 35 years later I still love it. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a position that allows me to make positive changes in people’s health, fitness, and overall well-being.
Throughout these years, I’ve had the privilege of training a wide range of clients—from the young and fit, to the physically challenged, the unfit, and even athletes. Each person is an individual with there own unique story, even though there goals may be the same my training will be tailor made for each person. What may work for one person may not work for another.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve gained a deeper respect for our aging bodies, the impact of menopause, and how hormones can influence health and fitness. Personally, I’ve had to slow down due to health challenges, injuries, and the effects of menopause, but one thing I will never do is stop.
If you can’t run, shuffle. If you can’t shuffle, walk. If you can’t walk, I will find something to get you moving.
My job is to help you become the best YOU can be.
No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

With nearly 14 years of experience in soccer, I understand what it takes to stay consistent, build strength, and improve performance, no matter what the goals may be.
