Reconnect with the Water

The wait is over! Our brand new 50m lap pool opens at 12pm on Friday 27 February 2026, welcoming swimmers of all ages and abilities. From early-morning laps and swim lessons to family routines and feel-good time in the water, this is where movement, confidence and community come together. Enjoy:

You're Invited!

You're invited to our Family Fun Day on Monday 2 March for the Labour Day Public Holiday! From 10 am to 4 pm, dive into a full day of family-friendly fun with something for everyone. Take on the Arena Aqua Inflatable, enjoy FREE water slide access, join in pool activities and giveaways and be entertained by roving performers and live music throughout the day. The first 1,000 guests will receive FREE DelishIce ice pops and special appearances by Royal Life Saving WA Watchdogs Walter & Wendy will delight kids and adults alike. Plus, don’t miss the chance to explore our brand-new 50m pool.

    Celebrate the long‑awaited return of the 50m Pool at Arena Joondalup!

    To mark the reopening of the aquatic centre’s brand‑new 50m, 10‑lane pool, Arena Joondalup is hosting a Family Fun Day on the Labour Day public holiday, Monday 2 March 2026.

    Bring the whole family along for a fun‑filled day in and around the water, with activities, entertainment, giveaways and the chance to explore the upgraded facility.

    What’s Happening

    From 10am to 4pm, enjoy a packed program of family‑friendly fun, including:

    💦 Return of the Arena Aqua Inflatable

    🎢 FREE water slide access from 10am - 4pm

    🎉 Fun pool activities and giveaways

    🎭 Roving entertainment

    🎶 Music throughout the day

    🍧 FREE DelishIce ice pops for the first 1,000 guests*

    🐾 Special appearance by Royal Life Saving WA Watchdogs Walter & Wendy

    🏓 FREE Come & Try Pickleball 

    🏋🏼‍♀️ Special Group Fitness Classes including Club Fiesta, Les Mills Strength & Development & Aqua Aerobics^

    Whether you’re diving back in or visiting for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

     

    Important Information

    Children aged 5 years and under must be constantly supervised and within arm’s reach of a parent or guardian.

    If a child is in the water, the parent or guardian must also be in the water.

    *ICEPOPS Subject to availability until allocation exhausted

    The Health & Fitness Team will be hosting special Family Fun Day Classes. Online bookings are required. Click here to book or join the waitlist.

      Please note: We are expecting a busy day at the venue and waiting times may be applicable.

    • The venue & aquatics center is open public holiday hours 8am - 6pm with family fun activities scheduled from 10am - 4pm.
